Christmas planning already? I say yes, and, finally! I am finally planning ahead to help this coming Christmas be more peaceful and less chaotic.
I love Christmas. It’s such a happy time of year! I love when we choose to focus more on joy and love and Christ.
I enjoy finding that perfect gift for those I love. I like finding the best deals by comparing my favorite online shopping stores, and I even love to wrap everything. I love everything about Christmas, except for the chaos of trying to do it all the tail end of November and the month of December. During December I find myself longing for quiet afternoons with my kids after school, taking time to focus on what we feel we should be focusing on. I would love to do more of the important things and less of the running around and feeling unorganized.
Part of being more organized and starting early meant that I also decided to finally tackle a Christmas Planner that I have been dreaming of for years. I knew if I started early I would actually complete a planner that I loved. And another bonus with this planner is that I’m gifting one to many friends and family for their gift this year!
Here’s what is included in the planner:
Cover
Family Gifts
Family Gifts option 2
Friends Gifts
Friends Gifts option 2
Budget
Traditions and Activities
Calendar for November and December
Christmas Cards
Menu Planner
Wish List
Christmas Eve Checklist
Thank You Cards
Print it to be customized to your needs. You can take pages out if you want, or add more copies of the pages you need more space on. For instance, in the bigger file I included, I have multiple pages for the family gifts (both), friends gifts option 2, budget, traditions and activities, Christmas card addresses and Christmas Cards, Menu Planner, and Thank You cards. I figured each of those will need more than one page. But you can always specify which ones you would like to print more of.
I’ve included one file with one page each, and one file that has extra copies of pages as explained in the paragraph above.
I sent mine to be printed on Blurb as an 8″ x 10″ tradebook, economy color since it was half the price as standard color. I did a lot of research and found this to be the most affordable way to print them. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, as well. Perfect, cute little book.
To make it easy, you can purchase the planner straight from Blurb HERE! This means you won’t spend time trying to find the most cost effective way to print them. I honestly think this is the best deal after researching for hours. Even sending the files to a copy store that had a good deal printing large quantities for double sided color copies, it still worked out to be more than printing through Blurb. I couldn’t find any options under $13.00/book shipped, so the cost to print and ship the planner on Blurb is quite low. The shipping was estimated to take 20 days for me when I ordered it. Instead it only took 11 days, so that was great. I’m not sure how fast they will be with the holidays coming up, but I was very happy it wasn’t 20 days.
If you decide to print at home, you do have added freedom to print more or omit pages, as well as organize them in the order you’d like. Either way it’s a win! Of course you can always print at home in black and white.
I designed the planner myself, and the beautiful clip art was designed by Moonberry Digital Art on Etsy.
Happy Christmas planning!
