Laptop bags, checkbook covers, clutches, and more! Here is a little about what Maggie had to say about her shop.
“Gussy is a line of ruffled accessories. Each ruffle is machine sewn free-hand style, making each ruffle unique. About 18 months ago I sat down at my kitchen table — I wanted to learn how to sew. And here I am now, offering wallets, zipped pouches of all sizes, laptop bags, and note cards (all with my signature ruffle) to those that love a little flair. And starting May 14, I’ll be sewing exclusively on Gussy products. No more day job! : ] To read more about Gussy, click here.”
The Nester wrote, “Gussy has a juicy shop full of all kinds of wonderfulness, and her blog, Gussy has a lot to say is quickly becoming a crafter’s headquarters where she features different crafters/artists and writes about her experience.”
So what will you win? A $30 shopping credit to Gussy. (Baby blankets are excluded in what you can get).
All you have to do to enter is visit the shop, come back to this post and leave a comment telling me what your favorite item in the shop is. One entry per person. Please delete any previous comments if you decide you want to say something else:).
Giveaway will close on Wednesday, at 12:00 pm (noon) MST. Have fun browsing Gussy! Aren’t those ruffles so pretty?!
P.S. Don’t forget that the Sew Through the Decades Challenge starts May 30th. This week I will just be going through the periods linking to great sources and posting fun pics of that decade so that you can plan what you’d like to do. You do not need to sew every week if you can’t. I’m not even sure I’ll be able to do that! And yes, if you want to crochet something or do something else from that period that isn’t sewing, that’s fine to play along that way as well! I just want everyone to have a good time being involved in the challenge and appreciating how we came to the fashions that we wear today!
