2 months old.

When I chose to take pictures with her name in wooden letters beside her, I failed to realize that the older she got the more those letters wouldn’t stay put ;).

Ruby has been such a fun baby. And my easiest. Sure, she has her fussy periods, but she is so happy and sleeps quite a bit. Not sure how much of that has to do with her heart defect as far as sleeping goes, but I admit that it is nice to be able to get her to sleep easily for the most part.  She weighed 8 lbs. 3.5 oz. at her check-up.  She’s still in newborn clothes and diapers, which is fun actually.

She also had her baby blessing this past Sunday. She looked beautiful (and tiny!). I wish I had taken pictures of her with my children, but they ran off with their cousins as soon as we were home and things got pretty busy with so many people over at our house.

And just because she’s so funny with all her new expressions, here are a couple more pictures. She’s giggling and cooing these days which has been so cute.

As I posted on instagram (@lemonsqueezyhome), I’m totally in love with how much my kids are in love with her. They are the BEST brothers and sister to Ruby!

School starts for my older kids in about a week. I’m not really ready for them to go back to school but here it comes! I can’t believe this summer is over!

Have a great rest of your weekend!

She’s adorable! My daughter was tiny as well and stayed in each size of clothing for about three months. Since she was born in June, that luckily meant she changed sizes with the seasons, so we saved money on clothing. haha At 4 she is the same size as most 2 year olds. Anyway, just thought I would share so you know you are not alone with having a tiny girl.

She is just gorgeous! I have done something similar with my little boy but I love the idea of her name beside her and the wooden letters. I going to do this next time!

She is adorable. How nice that you get to keep her sweet and small. They grow up too fast, so being able to use those teeny newborn diapers has to make changing time that much more enjoyable.

Stop it! She’s too cute! I can’t believe how fast she’s grown – she looks so much bigger than her newborn pic. Congratulations on her baby blessing! She looks like a little doll.
