Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was great and I did get some relaxing time in, which was well needed.
Here are the projects from those who participated in the 60’s challenge.
Nicole at Cole’s Corner and Creations made this amazing outfit for her daughter. SO cute!
Chelsea from Chelsea Rose Designs made this really cool dress with stainless steel pieces on the top. It turned out great!
Jenn from My Lavender Avenue, used an Oliver + S pattern to make this shirt dress. I love how it turned out!
And second, a pajama set made from a 1950’s pattern with vintage ric rac and other notions. I love that she used patterns from those eras. Wish I could get my hands on something before the 70’s (that I can afford!).
Marla from Marla, Plain and Small made this cute top from a 60’s or 70’s pattern. I really like how it turned out, and again, how fun to sew from a vintage pattern.
I don’t have much info on the next one, but in my flickr pool, this 60’s cushion was added. The name is Kiala on the photo. It totally looks like the 60’s, which I love!
Thanks, as always, for sewing along with me through the decades. I hope you are having fun! Sometimes I think, “Why did I commit to this?” But after something new is completed, I’m pretty happy that I did!
