Photos will really help your purses look their best for purse week. They might even make the difference in making the top 10, because the judges can see that you put some effort into photographing your purse and making sure it was very visible without a lot of shadows, being blurry, not true to the real color, etc.
All I’m saying is this: Say there are two purses that are identical and scored the same in all categories. So now it’s down to what we can see as a judge. If one is presented better than the other through the photos uploaded, the one photographed better would likely be chosen.
I’ve linked to two very helpful posts that I thought I would share with you today:
Disney from Ruffles and Stuff: A Few Photo Tips!
Etsy has a great post here.
Do a little researching online, and you’ll find loads of information, but the main thing is good lighting!
Just thought I would throw that helpful hint out there. Thanks to all who have participated so far!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll admit I have trouble sometimes photographing my bags. Even worse is when I try to get an “action” shot of the purse in use and have to rely on my husband to take the photos. He has absolutely no patience to take more than three pics!
*psst* Not to be pedantic but it happens to be a huge pet peeve of my husband’s and he’d be mad if I didn’t say anything. That “it’s” in your post title should be “its.”

I can’t wait to see all the purses! :)
