This picture has absolutely nothing to do with this post. It’s just Bailey being cute in the Nutcracker last month. Cheers.
Hey everyone! It has been a few weeks! I was actually working really hard the last few weeks on switching this blog over to wordpress–a feat that I wasn’t entirely sure how much work it was until I was in the thick of things.
But here we are and I am actually tickled with the changes and the organization it has afforded me. It’s so organized now and I love it!
I’ve been blogging for nearly 5 years–next week in fact. That is just plain crazy-town right there. Part of the fun of swapping things around here to wordpress is seeing how much I’ve changed as well as my style and my outlook on life, really. I’ve had a chance to look back at my posts from the beginning and see just how much I’ve learned in those years about sewing. There are definitely posts that make me cringe a bit! Either by my lack of skills or my taste or whatever. Fun times.
Anyways, I just wanted to point out quickly one thing–some of the menu items are drop down menus. The tutorials + more one is one of the drop down options and everything is labeled and categorized as it should be.
But, if you just click on Tutorials + More, then you will be directed to this nifty little page that let’s you see a few posts at once, and search the categories or archives in there. It’s my favorite feature about the foodie theme.
It was a LOT of hours spent, but I think well worth it. I love how polished and clean the site looks now, and that you don’t have to scroll and scroll to find old posts. I’m such a visual person that this is just how I like it now. I only wish I had made the change sooner!
I have a couple other “secret” project in the works :). I’ll announce them soon!
Thanks for stopping by!
