Months go by fast, eh? (And lighting is not always the same for pictures, unfortunately!)
Surgery for this bright-eyed baby girl is set.
As long as her oxygen levels stay good and as long as she is gaining weight, she will have a sedated echocardiogram the middle of November, and surgery will be 1-2 weeks after that appointment. So we’re looking at the later half of November for her surgery. She actually weighed in at 9 lbs. 10 oz. at her appointment last week, which was one day after she turned 3 months old. So she’s gaining rather well for a heart baby! Hopefully she can keep doing so well.
In other news, that handsome fellow on the right turned 10 this week. He chose laser tag for his birthday family activity and it seriously was so. much. fun. For all of us. And the firecracker gal up top? She turns 5 next week. Love all these kiddos.
Guess who hasn’t sewn anything but THESE headbands since baby was born? Yep, me.
Busy busy times with these cute kiddos. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, though. Not even sewing ;). Though I am hoping to get some shirts sewn this week for my kids. Since I told them I would 3 weeks ago and all.
Your children are just so beautiful!! The picture of Ruby at 3 months is such a happy picture.

Thanks Chris and Krysta! You are right, her lips look blue. Hopefully it was just the lighting that day or how it was edited??? We go tomorrow so we’ll be sure to check that:).
it is so cute that Ruby looks as if she is flexing her muscles in most of her pix. Good sign for her as a fighter for her challenges.
