I am loving this week. So many great purses popping up in the flickr pool, and so many great guest bloggers. Thank you everyone, for making this week so much fun!
Our next guest is Kate from see kate sew. One of my favorite things about Kate is that she thinks outside the box and has such a fun, vintage feel on her blog. And aren’t we all lovin’ vintage right now!?
Check out this project. So. Stinkin’. Awesome. The Vintage Suitcase Chair. Very cool.
Her Little Man Diaper Clutches are adorable! And so manly :). And just about the cutest picture for a tutorial!
And this book clutch is SO adorable and creative!
Serious uniqueness over at see kate sew. And she’s beautiful. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Welcome, Kate!

I’m so excited to be a part of purse week! My name is Kate and I blog at see kate sew! I’m a mama to a 1 year old boy. I’ve finally gotten the hang of being a mom and spend most of my free time sewing!
Purses have always been one of my favorite things to make. Some of my very first sewing projects were purses and totes. They are great for all levels of sewing and are such a satisfying project since they are so useful!
Today I am going to show you how to make this linen satchel! I had a few yards of vintage sheets to play with and some leftover pinstriped linen from a dress. I made it in a messenger style because that seems to be the easiest while carrying a baby around!
Thanks for having me Christie!
