Purse Week: Some Updates

I have changed the date of when the purses have to be made after:  any purses made after July 1st will be accepted, rather than August 1st (nice, right?).  Unfortunately, there are still purses being entered that don’t meet that requirement, so please fix that!  Otherwise, I’m going to have to disqualify some and I don’t want to be mean :(. But rules are rules, and I feel like changing that date is as much as I can do to be nice about it.

Also, I need a few of you to go back into the Purse Week Flickr Group and please add a description about your purse:  I need to know if it is your own design or if you used a pattern or tutorial.  Also, any other things you might like to tell us about your purse will be great, for instance, what inspired your design or fabric use, or whatever.  Pretty much just talk about your purse:).

I’ve also changed the original post to include that international entries are welcome!  Yea!

The judges will have a simple scoring sheet to be able to narrow it down to the top 10.  Purses will be judged in 10 different areas, such as quality of work, creativity, uniqueness, overall appearance, etc.
