Ready for the Roarin’ 20’s?

06/13/2010 By Christie

I’m so excited to start the next decade, as many of you seemed to like fashion more starting with this decade.  And it’s a fun one!  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Here are some pics from the flickr group for the decade 1910-1919.

I don’t really have a link for Flor do Céu, but you can click on that link to go to her flickr account to see some beautiful handbags she makes.  I love the folk style of her bags.

Ashley at Bramblewood Fashion blogged about her version of the Hobble Skirt here, along with her inspiration for it.  Isn’t this fun?

Crys from He’s Got My Whole World In His Hands shared this awesome photo of her hobble skirt. So cute! She explains more about her skirt here.

Jenn from My Lavendar Avenue made these cute cute pantalettes.   You can see more pictures here.
Check out this adorable dress by Nicole at Cole’s Corner and Creations. I love it!  See more pictures here.

Chrissy from There are UFO’s Under my Stairs made this darling dress for her girl.  So cute!  See more pictures here.

Thanks so much for participating everyone!  I’m excited to see what you do this next week!

Oh MAN!!!! I completly forgot to upload my pictures to the flickr group. I loved this challenge! I just put mine in there.

My daughter is not thrilled about the roaring… all the pictures I showed her, she said… um, NO!

so… we’ll see what we can compromise on.

I am really enjoying this challenge, and there is still the whole summer ahead of us. Good times.
