I am happy to have finally participated in Grosgrain’s Frock by Friday, and was able to have it work for the 70’s! Remember when I bought this fabric and had the Anda Dress in mind? It seems I have a never-ending list of projects that I never get to, but the challenge motivated me to get to this.
Perfect dress for Fall, and perfect fabric for the 70’s decade. My husband told me, “I like your dress. It’s groovy.”
I think I will take it in on the sides even more next time—I’m planning on making at least one more. It was a fun and simple dress to make!________________________________________________________________________
Next week, the 80’s!
Next week is also Purse Week! Are you getting your purses finished up for the contest? I’m so excited!

What a gorgeous dress! I like that the waist is a little higher and the gathers made it work.
