I don’t know that any baby has been more adored by her siblings (I’m biased of course, but really, they simply love this girl with all their hearts—and I’ll throw her parents into that mix as well).
She is getting on her hands and knees and rocking! Closer to crawling :). She loves to chase her brothers and sister. This is what Bailey affectionately refers to as “Ruby Tag”.
She loves to chase the vacuum. She is loud and yells her ‘hello’s’ to everyone she sees. She kicks and smiles at everyone, talks to them, and then as soon as they get close she sinks into us to camouflage herself and acts shy.
She takes wonderful naps and is starting to wake less often at night. She loves any and all baby food we offer to her. She has quite enjoyed the sneaks of chocolate from her siblings ;).
This was her smiling at me when putting her down for her nap. I think she was pretty sure I couldn’t resist.
She loves to swing, and smiles so big while doing so that it’s verging on looking like a cry, but it’s pure joy!
Hope you are all having a great Monday and that every woman out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day, no matter the circumstances you find yourself in. I know it is hard for some women. I hope you felt loved!
God love her little toes, she is precious beyond words!
Thank you Lisa!!
She is such a delight! So happy for you all. x
That is a wonderful word to describe her!! Thank you!!
Oh I just love her! The video is absolutely adorable, she’s so busy. I hope you had a wonderful mother’s day too!
She is very busy!! It is wonderful!! Thank you Anne!!
Hanna Andersson sells a really cute rashguard suit for baby girls! It would be just perfect for covering up Ruby’s scar and giving her the freedom to play in the baby pool! And this one is on sale, too. Here’s a link: http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC&pcid=46&styleid=41190&simg=41190_C20
Those are so cute!! Thanks for the great tip!!
Thank you so much for sharing the video, photos, and stories about Ruby. It really brightened my day!
I was just back from maternity leave when you had Ruby and she crosses my mind often when I am thinking about my daughter’s (much less-daunting) challenges. Seeing her absolutely flourish in your family’s love and her doctors’ care has been a privilege.
