241 Tote by Noodlehead

I really like Anna from Noodlehead. :) She is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and humble craft bloggers out there, in my opinion.  I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her over the last year.I also really love her blog.  She has the greatest taste in fabric, and her designs are wonderful.  The 241 Tote is definitely proof of that. I love the tutorials out there all over for free, but I admit that the perfectionist in me loves a good pattern.  I love that everything just comes together perfectly.  And since things have been crazy busy here, sewing something that doesn’t take long gives me great satisfaction!  The 241 Tote came together in about 2 hours for me.  Which is a great way to spend some time sewing something that turns out really cute.  DSCF5251

I love how the pockets stick out so you can toss your keys or cell phone in them and easily access them when you need to.  The tote pattern also comes with a zipper pocket version, which is also very cute.  DSCF5256

I used it on my outing yesterday and got plenty of comments on what a cute bag it was.  I have to agree—the design is awesome!  The main fabric is Ikea fabric I purchased a couple years ago, and the gray striped fabric was $1.00/yard at Walmart about 4 years ago.  DSCF5260

I also think it would make a wonderful diaper bag!  Those pockets fit a sippy really well!DSCF5250

Thanks for the great pattern, Anna!  I think we all need to deem you a Queen of Bags and Pouches—they always look amazing and I’ve loved every one I’ve tried out!

Love it!! That is so awesome!! I so wish I could sew like you. :) Really. Too bad I didn’t see it sooner, that just may have motivated me to make one for this baby since I threw away my old diaper bag cause it was disgusting.
