Yep, another birthday at our house. B is turning 2 this week. She loves the owl lunch sack that I gave her, but she wants to take it to bed with her, and it has a long strap that wouldn’t be safe. So she needed an owl to cuddle with. 
I think that this owl has somewhat scary eyes! I even re-made the pupils, but I just can’t cut a good circle! Hopefully B won’t agree with me (she normally doesn’t on many things in life right now)! I made the owl just using the flap pattern and adding a half inch when cutting out the polka dot fabric.
I’ve had this brown owl fabric forever. So it was nice to finally use it for what I bought it for—a small snuggly blanket for B. 
I have something exciting to announce, but I have to finalize at least some of the details, so hopefully by Friday you will know what I’m talking about!
I don’t think the eyes look scary at all. It’s super cute! and the blanket is, too.
