Celebrate the Boy and Once Upon a Thread

02/16/2011 By Christie

Um, yah, you funny readers make me laugh.  LOVED hearing your own stories and fears of cutting your hair after bad cuts, and all the great advice.  Thank you for making my bad hair experience a funnier one.  We’ll see what I can manage with it when I actually shower and do my hair.  Thanks for taking the time to commiserate with me!

This month there are huge things happenings on two of my favorite blogs (that I am really excited to participate a little with a post).  And it’s funny to even assume this is news to anyone who reads my blog, but I’m going to spread the love anyway!

First off, Dana from MADE and Rae from Made by Rae are doing another month-long event of Celebrate the BOY.  If you missed this last year, you’ll definitely want to go back through their archives and find out what you haven’t seen, because it was amazing.  So many wonderful boy ideas, which is precisely the point!

And second, Katy from No Big Dill is doing a wonderful month-long event also that will be incredible.  It’s called Once Upon a Thread.  And by the way, Katy happens to be in the final three of Project Run and Play—seriously, go check out what she has created for the rounds—absolutely amazing work .

Aren’t these great events?!  I’m really looking forward to all the creative ideas from both of them.  These ladies put so much effort into the planning, posting, tutorials, etc. so make sure to stop by and let them know their hard work is worth it!

Both blog events are going to make dreary March seem so exciting.
