The talented Ann Kelle contacted me a few months ago and asked if I wanted to make something using some of her amazing fabric. She designs for Robert Kaufman and her fabric was so adorable I had to say yes! Especially once I discovered her flannel. I knew once I saw the incredibly cute Jingle Flannel that I would make my kids some pajama bottoms.
I have made lots of things with inexpensive, low quality flannel before. The kind that looks pretty awful after the first wash. I was hopeful that this flannel would be better quality since I’d heard that Robert Kaufman flannel is better quality. I have only washed the fabric once, but it is still so soft and has not pilled at all even through the cutting and sewing, so I think we have some much better flannel on our hands here :).
My kids have all said how soft the fabric is as well and they LOVE how cute the fabric is!
I sewed on little deer for my girls and have had requests from both my boys to sew some polar bears onto their shirts later today.
So far, I’m thrilled with the fabric, the design, the colors, and the quality. I can’t wait to see how long they stay soft for!
Thank you so much for letting me sew with your awesome fabric Ann!
