(and probably the last thing I’ll be able to work on this week)
I’m so glad to have participated in KCW! I always love sewing things for my kids!
This last one took about 15-20 minutes total time, because a) it was made from an existing shirt, and b) it’s a simple pillowcase dress.
The before shirt was one I purchased at a thrift store. It still had the tags from Target on it! But it was way too big for me, and even after trying to alter it, it never fit right. (It’s very wrinkled in the next picture—sorry!). It has a great neckline that I was able to use for the neckline on B’s dress as well. My first pillowcase dress, and it was very easy.
I had some bias tape from the 60’s or 70’s that matched perfectly. So I used that as the ties and around the bottom. I’m so happy that I can still see the fun fabric from the shirt on B now!

Super cute and so clever! I am hoping to get some time today to just work on one thing. Maybe it doubles as the 1960’s and kids week…
