Last week was a long week. Bailey broke her nose, my son broke his glasses, I ended up with the flu (chills, body aches, blah), our router broke and our computer kept blacking out. So. Not. Fun. Yes there are worse things in life FOR SURE. I know I’m being a whiny brat but it wasn’t a fun week. I’m hoping this week is better. So I’m borrowing my husband’s laptop and trying to edit pictures to get a couple posts in this week because I’ve been sewing a lot at night after the kids are in bed.
Moving right along!
Check out these adorable outfits that I was able to whip up in no time for Ruby Jane.
These are both included in the sew fab sale—the tops are made from imagine gnats tumble tee. It comes in sizes 6 months—10 years so I just graded it down as well as I could. Ruby is 4 months old, but tiny. I was pretty happy with how they fit her!
I didn’t do any of the fun fabric mixing with the tees, because I was really looking for a quick sew and these totally were.
I was super excited for the fancy pants leggings by titchy threads in the bundle, because they start at size 0-3 months and go through size 10. Aren’t the so cute on Ruby!?
I made her the smallest size (obvs, she’s tiny!) and just lengthened them to the 3-6 months size.
I love that they fit her great around the waist because the girl is always losing her pants! And if she’s not losing her pants, well they are too short! Tall and skinny? Every girls dream right? :)
I think I’ll make her another pair or five. I love love them.
And I suppose that’s enough pictures…Ruby’s ready for me to be done.

Goodness! I’m sorry you were having such a rough week! Hope everything is better.
Precious. I love the patterns you chose and your model is just adorable! I really need to try working more with knits. Would you say this is a good pattern for beginners?

Gosh sometimes I’m so literal. I didn’t like the color blocking of the tumble tees and didn’t think of just making them all one color – doh! Love the outfits!

What is that wonderful feather knit fabric?? NIce work, despite all the ups & downs.

Okay now see I was just about to comment that if you told me that Ruby isn’t always happy I wouldn’t believe you, and then you have the last picture there. But looks like she only moved her face like 1/18th away from a smile, anyways ;)
