There’s a lot of fun packed into this tiny little four month old, 10 lbs. 12 oz., 22.5” long baby!
She’s started to smile at herself in the mirror.
If you follow me on instagram (@lemonsqueezyhome) you might have seen a fun video of her cooing and just being pretty darn cute. Cause that’s what she’s good at. You’ll also catch a video of her giggling while I get her dressed. She is SO ticklish while I dress her. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day.
We often ask our kids questions like these: “Carson, how’d you get so smart?” or “Devon, how come you’re so sweet?” or “Bailey, why are you so funny?” Our kids now ask Ruby, “Ruby, how’d you get so cute?” Oh, and p.s. I totally know the hearts are upside down…but when you make heart babylegs for your heart baby, the way babylegs are made from socks means the hearts ended up upside down. And fun tip: if you have a tiny baby like Ruby, you can buy socks from the little girls section. THESE babylegs I made her before she was born won’t fit till she’s quite a bit bigger.
For comparison’s sake:
(I think I need to re-take a couple shots of her this week without the dark blue—it’s not working with the others, is it?)
hey june
oh, that pic of her sleeping is so precious!! Also, Ruby is now the same weight and length as my friend’s newborn. How insane is that?!!

That is crazy! I have a friend who delivered an over 11 lb baby! So nuts to think Ruby could still fit inside someone and they’d have to birth her ;).

I thought the upside down hearts were deliberate so that when she lays with her legs in the air, playing with her toes, the hearts would appear the right way up to her :)

Ruby how’d you get so cute is the right question!
