If you live in Utah and have never been to Pine Needles, you are missing out! My sister told me about this store in Gardner Village that she was super impressed with. She told me it was just so fun to go look at what they had—not even buy anything! So I decided I’d check it out. (I did ask permission to blog about it and take pictures—I am not being paid or anything!).
I’ve only been 3 times total now, but I am in love!
Just to name a few awesome lines of fabric, they carry Amy Butler, Riley Blake, Robert Kaufman, Michael Miller, Moda, Bernartex, and more. Love. It. It’s really like my heaven! And their projects on display are simply beautiful.
I’ve also enjoyed shopping at the following places in real life:
The Cotton Shop
Material Girls
Home Fabrics (awesome selection of home decor fabrics for a great price)
And of course Joann is great—especially if you have their coupons.
And here’s a place online that I’ve thought highly of their prices and selection:
Crafter’s Vision
I love inspiring shops! If you are in Utah, are there any other gems you’ve found? I’d love to hear about them!

What a beautiful shop – how could you not be inspired after going there?

Oh, you are so lucky to live in Utah among the Mecca of quilt/fabric stores! I love The Corn Wagon in Sprigville, The Material Girls in South Jordan, and Elaine’s Quilt Block in SLC – just to name a few!

Pine Needles and Material Girls are dangerous places for me!
Amanda K @ Every Crafty Endeavor
I love pine needles! I am actually planning a trip there today because I need some cute fabric!!
Andrea and Casey
Cute fabric shop! I need to check it out!
One of my very favorites, if you are ever in south utah county, is Gracie Lou’s Quilt Shoppe in Salem. Love their fabric selection, cute display projects, kids play area, and classes each month. It’s amazing!

You are already well aware of my love for Pine Needles.
Camilla keeps telling me about a place called Yellow Bird or something. We need to go check it out.

I just went to Pine Needles for the first time on Saturday–found very cute stuff. They have Japanese fabrics too!

There is a pretty good place on Redwood and just south of 90th called Fabric Center. Slightly less expensive than Material Girls (my other shop of choice). Plus you can often find coupons for them in the Hometown Values mailers.
I will definitely have to check out Pine Needles. I have been meaning to go to Gardner Village to check out a baby boutique, so this will be the perfect excuse! Thanks for the info.

looks like a fun time! I wish quilt shops would have a kids playroom, then I could shop more, wouldn’t that be to their advantage?! :)

If you’re ever in Utah County, check out the Corn Wagon Quilt Co. in Springville. It’s one of my favs!
Chris, Kristina, Nathan and....Audrey!
Check out Quilt Etc in Sandy if you haven’t. It doesn’t look that big…but then you go downstairs and there’s more. And across the street more!!
