At Second Street has a tutorial here for some adorable face plates. I really love them and think they are so cool!
I printed out some pictures of my fam to make them like Kalleen does. But as we started, I quickly realized that it would soon become a “me” craft if I did it the right way. Someday I will make them like she does!
So I decided to just let the kids draw a face on their plate with the paint pen, however they wanted. They turned out pretty cute. Today I’m doing one more thing with my kids to post tomorrow, and that will wrap up Craft With Your Kids Week! I’ve loved seeing what you have done so far, either through the link party or your emails.
If you’d like, you can link your ideas up here—it’d be great to reference in the future!

LOVE your ideas! So glad I found your blog… these plates are just precious and what a great keepsake, or Christmas gifts for family!

I love that you let your kids draw the faces. My kids would probably like these even more than ours. Maybe someday we’ll try it.
p.s. it looks like your kids have some of your talent. I’m impressed with they’re skills.
