In April, Megan from Brassy Apple emailed and said she had a fun new show on My Craft Channel called Refashion It, and asked if I wanted to be a guest.
My first impulse was to delete the email and run away to hide in a corner and pretend she never asked so I didn’t have to have any regrets because I most definitely did not want to do it, ha ha! But then I told my husband and he kept telling me I really should do it, how it would be fun and how I always like to meet new bloggers and what a great opportunity this would be to get outside my comfort zone. And I listened and said yes. Let me tell you, it was a huge step outside my comfort zone, I was so darn nervous. I’m surprised you can’t see my heart pumping 100 beats per minutes (at least).
But I survived and yes, I did get to meet some fun bloggers: Nike, Megan of course, and Sachiko, which was totally funny since we had planned to meet for the first time that week! And thankfully those in charge of filming were equally friendly (thanks Lori and Rick!) so really, it wasn’t that nerve racking when all was said and done. But try telling that to someone who feels like they might pee their pants any minute before shooting the basically one take you get ;).
It was a good experience though. I’m glad the hubs convinced me to do it! You’ve seen the tutorial on my blog HERE, but HERE is the video link. **Please note the shirt in the video is inside out.
Try not to laugh at my couple of awkward moments. Thanks Megan and those at My Craft Channel!
